This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school and many students lack basic supplies. In math students need pencils to solve math problems. The glow party decorations will be used to transform my math class for our state math STAAR test review. I have learned that students learn better when the are actively engaged in their learning and when learning is made fun. The bulk supplies of toys will be used in my classroom as rewards and prizes.

My students are very diverse and learn in many different ways.

By transforming my classroom and making learning hands on and engaged I know will help my students be more successful.
