Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A good classroom environment is an essential component of effective and successful learning. It sets the tone for positive interactions, engagement, and mutual respect among students and between students and teachers. In a good classroom environment, students feel safe, supported, and comfortable, allowing them to fully participate in the learning process.
Having a positive classroom environment is a key factor in ensuring student success.
Many of us perform best in an atmosphere where we feel comfortable. By having a classroom where students love to come in to, they will perform better in math class. A classroom environment is more than a physical space, it’s the way being in that space makes the student feel.
By having these resources my students will look forward to coming to class each day. I believe this can get them excited about math and give the opportunity to be comfortable while learning. These furniture items can also be used as incentives for students. When students work hard they can earn a spot on the beanbag chair, sit on the futon or earn a cold drink!
