Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are definitely hard workers. I had the opportunity to meet them over the summer. I love that my students enjoy learning and try their best. They work well in groups and rise up to challenges. Math is a challenging subject because students are often at different levels of understanding and have learning gaps that need to be addressed. This year I'd like to plan better and offer small group instruction to better address all students' needs. The items in my list will be used to create fun and engaging math activities and games. The TeachersPayTeachers gift card will be used towards purchasing the center activities and the bins will be a great help for keeping our class organized. I am sure my students will take advantage of these resources and that they will come to love math.
