My Students

I am blessed this year to have 19 little learners! I have 8 boys and 11 girls. My children are primarily from lower socio economic status families and from single parent homes. They are all bright and eager to be back in school.

Unfortunately, distance learning has made it difficult to provide the one to one and small group children need to meet their individual needs.

Funding my project will help me help my students to read on grade level and be successful students.

My Project

Understanding number relationships is the foundation for success in mathematics. Students need to know the value of a digit (place value) as well as how to compose (add/multiply) and decompose (subtract/divide) numbers.

These engaging math centers will make math learning fun and encourage students to actively participate in mastering critical math foundational skills.

Students will be able to participate individually, in small groups, with a partner, and in whole group instruction using these tools. Building these strong foundational skills will enable students to master mathematical learning for years to come!
