My Students

My 7th graders love to be all in the math. By "all in" I mean they like to be physically involved. Hands on learning and maximum engagement is what we do in my classroom. Many students like to stand up or spin around during class.

Sitting still is not what we do!

They enjoy activities where they get to walk around or move from one station to another. Movement is a major key to learning and engagement in my classroom.

My Project

Every unit I teach has an opportunity for centers. Students will work on projects that have multiple steps that will be broken up into various centers. Each center will be located in a different part of the classroom. While working around the room, students need to have their materials with them. They need to be organized.

Organization is crucial!

With the use of a storage clipboard, students will be able to have everything they need in one easy to use portable place. Each student would be responsible for their own items. Pencils, paper, calculator, notes, and more. All of which will fit in their storage boards.
