This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are adorable little learners who are embarking on the beginning of their educational journey. Many of the students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they come to school every day and be the best they can.

I am looking to keep my students safe every single day.

They are creative, clever, spontaneous, and full of energy. They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention.

My Project

My class loves Math! We want to give our students a fun and new opportunity to learn math skills like number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence, sorting, patterning, and measuring. These math supplies, like centers, games and buttons will help us achieve that!

The skills my students will learn using these math materials will help them be successful, prepared and independent as they grow and move along their academic journey!

Helping students visualize math builds a strong foundation for understanding how numbers work and allows students to achieve success. When they are given the chance to use manipulatives, students will take their learning and understanding to the next level.
