This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders are fun and energetic students who love to work together to discover and explore math concepts! One of their favorite activities to complete during math is our center time.

They are bright and determined mathematicians who would love to have more hand-on learning opportunities.

My Project

I am requesting Math Center Games for my students to use. My students will be able to use these center games during small group instruction and independent work time. The games cover a range of mathematical topics and are highly motivational for younger learners!

These games will reinforce their learning and provide an opportunity to work together.

Students will need to work together to use the math centers as many of the games are for 2-4 players. They will be able to practice their communication and leadership skills in addition to their mathematical skills. Students will be able to explore multiplication, time and other third grade concepts in a hands-on and engaging way.
