This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing four year olds who have so many questions. They come to school wanting to know more about everything. Developmentally my students find it hard to just sit and listen. They need to experience their learning.

Please help me nourish that desire to learn more.

Math is one of the most important foundations needed for anything in life. Most of my students have never attended school before so this is their first experience developing their love for school.

We need these manipulatives to build math skills through creativity and imagination. These tools will help us learn about numbers, counting, number recognition, patterns, shapes, building, designing, problem solving, addition, subtraction, and even data. Please help me give my students the skills and foundation they will need to be successful in math and future learning.
