This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These scientific calculators will help students practice for their Statewide Assessment. The Password Plus Combination Locks will be used to engage the students by creating escape room exercises where the combination is revealed after solving a math problem similar to the ones they will see on their Statewide Assessment, and ultimately revealing a prize!
All of these items will improve students' math skills as well as their desire to learn!
Students will be engaged with Math Boot Camps to review and practice the content of the course. The proper use of the calculators will definitively improve their math skills. All students will learn the function of each calculator button and the correspondent math or algebraic property of numbers.
