Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Math is everywhere, and I want my 6th graders to feel confident tackling real-world math challenges! To strengthen their skills, I am requesting engaging math books and resources that will support their learning in a fun and meaningful way. These books will provide extra practice with essential 6th-grade topics like fractions, ratios, decimals, and problem-solving strategies.
With your support, I can provide high-quality workbooks, interactive math stories, and problem-solving resources to help my students succeed.
These materials will reinforce classroom learning, encourage independent practice, and build confidence in math. Many students struggle with math concepts without extra support outside of class. By providing accessible and engaging resources, we can bridge learning gaps and make math an enjoyable subject. These books will serve as great tools for in-class activities, homework support, and summer learning to prevent the "math summer slide."
These math workbooks that provide step-by-step practice in key 6th-grade concepts will provide interactive problem-solving books that make math engaging, and real-world math application books to show students how math is used in daily life.
