This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our district provides us with an excellent online resource that allows us to create engaging and meaningful math lessons for our students. One of the most popular resources among my students is the math board games, which cover every skill we teach in math. Unfortunately, we do not have the printing materials or sufficient resources to create these games. Printing everything in black and white on regular sheets of paper is not attractive to students, and the games last only for one round.

With your donations, I am planning to print these games on colorful paper, laminate them, and store them according to skill, so students in all my classes can use them to spiral review throughout the school year, as well as for practice for our State Test.

With these materials, not only will I stop wasting so much ink and paper, but the students will be able to play and learn with the board games as many times as they want.

Although we have already created some of these games in the past, they are not very durable or appealing. However, the students still enjoyed them, practiced, and learned significantly with them.

I am kindly requesting your donations to help me fund this project. Your support will enable me to provide my students with more durable and attractive resources that will help them learn and review math skills more effectively.
