Help me give my students the ability to see themselves as capable mathematicians.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Cohen's classroom raised $460

My Project
My mission as a numeracy interventionist is to build positive math identify in my students. Despite academic struggles, the kids often tell me that math is their favorite subject. I want them to maintain this enthusiasm when they transition to middle school.
Students need to know that they have valuable ideas to contribute.
The document camera will make it possible for them to share and explain their work to the classroom community. The picture books will introduce them to women and people of color who excel in STEM fields. The Which One Doesn’t Belong activities will promote the idea that math is about more than finding one correct answer. The Tower of Math game will add variety and joy on “Fun Friday.”
Please help me build a positive math mindset, one classroom at a time!
