My students need fun, hands-on math materials. Preschoolers learn best when they can touch and manipulate objects. This helps keep students engaged.

My Students

What makes my class special? Well, I have two amazing sessions of preschool children with a range of abilities. I have students with autism, hearing impairments, and a variety of unique syndromes. My students range in age from 3 years old to 5 years old. This is the beginning of their education, and we are laying the foundation for the next 12 to 15 years of school they have ahead of them. Every day I get to see magic happen, and the rewards are so many. The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.

My Project

Hands on is minds on, help my students reach their goals and achieve success!

The little lady bugs and the key with matching locks will help students recognize numbers and quantity concepts.

The fun butterfly counters will help us graph, sort and count. Who knew math could be so fun.

The water blocks will provide the opportunity for kids to be architects and build with endless opportunities while playing in the water.

Every school year we read the classic story by Dr Seuss, 10 Apples up on Top. The fun characters will come to life as the kids are able to stack the apples on and count.
