Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are excited about science and math. Our stations are going well and there is a lot of curiosity developing around STEM standards.

We are in need of a stapler, desktop park station, ten frame with magnetic bears, acrylic sheets, door stop and handwriting lines stamper.

The desktop park stations are going to be used to give the students instructions on what they are going to be doing at each center. The magnetic ten frame with bear counters is going to be used during small group instruction. The students need to be able to manipulate objects to make their understanding of numbers concrete.

The acrylic sheets are going to be used to write on with dry erase markers. It is easy for the students to use and it saves our paper. The cardstock will be used for a variety of projects throughout our units and the handwriting line stamp will allow students to label items on their papers.
