Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach first grade in a Title I school. Although my students may live in an impoverished neighborhood, my students are vibrant and will brighten up your day! They can be an energetic bunch! They are hard workers and love to show this to anyone who walks into our classroom or whoever they see in the hallway!
My students are an amazing group of children with different abilities and personalities.
They are busting at the seams to learn. They are excited to learn and grow.
My Project
I am requesting a Bluetooth microphone and a Chromebook for my classroom. My students are hard workers and deserve resources that will enhance their learning and support their academic advancement in Math and Science.
These two technology resources will be an asset to our classroom.
The Bluetooth Microphone will be used for students to present their work. They will use it to explain how they solve math problems. My students present how they solve math problems and/or how they understand the math lesson. The microphone will also be used for students to present their work. Some of my students are quiet talkers; so the microphone will help them project their voices for the rest of the class to hear them speak. The Chromebook will be used by students to work on their differentiated lessons in math. Students will use the Chromebook to research and watch videos of their science topics.
The microphone and Chromebook will have a great impact on the students in my class in math and science. They will be able to use the Chromebook to practice their math skills and research science topics. My students will use the microphone to explain their learning and present their work.
