This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each resource that was picked is for the betterment of the classroom environment. The kids and I love to see color and feel comfortable in our room that we share five days out of the week. We are bonding and growing a relationship each and every day with each other and these resources are going to improve the space for us to share those memories.

Living in a world like today, you can’t help but think of the children and the impact they have on the future.

As a teacher, I can’t help but want the best for them for this same reason. Seeing them mature into brighter scholars is such a reward for me and giving them a beautiful learning environment is a necessity for these young students.

Since mathematics is the priority and what curriculum covers mostly, I will be decorating the front of the room with the mathematics posters so the students can have a better look at them. The science materials will go on the wall where the book bags are and where the open space is at for relaxing. The cushions will be used when students are relaxing and reading a book when they’re done with their work. The bins are going to be used for paperwork that will be passed out during the week, important handouts, and homework bins for groups.

Everything on the wish list will definitely help my kids have a great school year and they will know others care for their educational journey by donating their hard earned money for us!!! What an awesome site where you can do such things. Wish I knew about this sooner!! Thank you in advance!!!
