This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love math and science and enjoy any opportunity for a hands-on learning experience. Math manipulatives such as 3D geometric shapes and magnetic cubes play a helpful role in teaching math concepts to children. They help students see the math and physically engage with math.

Students at all levels and abilities can use math manipulatives to learn math concepts.

Math manipulatives are great in helping students understand math processes and procedures. The manipulatives will be used for math games, small group instruction, and during 1:1 learning. In addition, we will use these gemstones as we learn about Earth during our Earth Science lessons. I believe that with these science and math manipulatives, my students will have fun and become successful mathematicians and scientists!
