Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our campaign is focused on supporting special education students by providing them with essential tools that enhance both academic and communication skills. We aim to supply classrooms with Equivalency Puzzles and Sílaba Puzzles to boost math and reading comprehension. These self-checking, hands-on puzzles allow students to practice key concepts at their own pace, encouraging independence, confidence, and critical thinking.
In addition to these engaging academic resources, we’re also including Autism Communication Cards in Spanish and Behavior Cards in Spanish.
These visual supports are vital for helping nonverbal or minimally verbal students express their needs, understand classroom expectations, and navigate social situations more comfortably. By addressing both academic and behavioral learning, we can offer a truly individualized and inclusive learning experience.
