My students need math stories and books to read in our math class! These books will help my mathematicians to become better math thinkers, problem solvers, and readers!
My eager 2nd graders are like little sponges soaking up all the new things around them. They have a drive for questions and knowledge that keeps me busy and looking for new ideas and concepts to teach them.
Most of my students do not have any other educational opportunities outside of school, so they come to school very eager to learn.
They appreciate anything that I do for them. They are always eager and ready to dive into whatever we're learning.
My Project
My 2nd graders love reading and learning new math concepts. The very best way for me to bring both of these worlds together is through engaging math readers! New math read aloud books would help motivate my students and get them excited about new learning to come! First, I would use these stories to introduce new math content, and then students will utilize the stories at their math stations to review math skills that we have learned.
My students just love to learn!
These new resources will allow them to continue learning in the fun, hands-on way that they long for. Our classroom will be bouncing with math fun when we get our new materials!
