Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are children that have learning difficulties that make it hard for them to learn and retain information. They are in need of activities to help with their learning.
It is difficult enough for my students, I want to give them a fun way of learning and being able to do things on their own, or in a small group, as I am working with others.
The write and wipe boards will help them with their math and being able to break down the problems and being able to visualize it. The splash math will help them on their basic math facts in a fun way. The journals will give them just a few minutes to clear their mind and get them ready to learn the concept of the day. With the Splash reading, they will be able to sound out and blend the words.
Each of these things may be small but in the long run they will help my students make progress and help them be more successful in the general education classroom.
These are everyday things that my students need to help with their learning.
