My Project

In our classroom, we complete centers daily during reading and math. Centers let students apply skills independently that they have learned during whole group instruction. If a student can work and complete the task independently, this shows me that they understand, and can apply the skill learned. Students learn best when completing hands-on activities. These lakeshore counting activities, math boards, addition, and subtraction centers will help my students build fluency. During listening centers, they can listen to an audiobook and then complete a follow-up using character, setting, and events to practice retelling. Help me provide a variety of math and listening centers to my classroom that will allow my students multiple means of learning.
