My students need 6 math, science, and language arts games to enjoy and learn from simultaneously.
This project expired on February 24, 2011.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
It is important for children to grow up to be confident independent learners, but just as crucial is for them to work cooperatively as well.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds.
They come together in the classroom, and they form a unique family where they can learn from each other and root each other on. Their strengths shine through not only in their academic work but in their commitment to our school community.
The games I am requesting will aid many skills such as developing a strong number sense, constructing grammar awareness, building a varied vocabulary, and creating an interest in scientific facts and data. These games will also support cooperative learning and communication skills.
These games will make a difference in our classroom by allowing the students another modality in which to learn.
Children learn from using all their senses. Hands-on games are a wonderful way for them dig right into new material. They can have fun while taking in information and more over, they will learn how to work (and play) with others.
