This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students range from TK-5th grade. They have different learning needs and receive RSP services in my classroom. RSP stands for Resource Specialist Program. I provide my students with an individualized instruction. In order to accomplish my students individual goals it is essential that I use a variety of manipulatives and different learning modalities.
Some of my students have been identified with specific learning disabilities.
My goal is to give my students the strategies to help them be successful in their education.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my student' learning because they will be able to practice a variety of skills and concepts in the area of language arts, writing, and math.
The students will be able to build on their math skills by using the number lines to assist them in counting on,counting back, skip counting, along with adding and subtracting.
The math manipulatives will assist my students and learning new concepts and skills.
Also, the page protecters and binders will protect these items from getting damaged. These types of resources will increase my students reading, reading comprehension, writing, and math skills to stronger their knowledge.
