Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Though we face challenges today, I am nonetheless endeavoring to create rich, meaningful learning experiences for our children. I want to ensure that our students of all backgrounds are able to access our curriculum and cultivate their learning skills.
My 4th graders are filled with unique brilliance.
They are each unique individuals who are enthusiastic about learning. Many love to build, play with their peers, and challenge themselves. These children are capable of empathy, wonderful creativity, and critical thinking.
My Project
The goal of this project is to help my students have the best learning experience. The watercolor paints will be used for various projects throughout the year. I have many eager artists in our classroom. So, I know these paints will be cherished. In addition, students will explore art concepts and different techniques. Painting will improve their fine motor skills as well.
The math games in this project are intended to bring joy to our math learning.
Multiplication and fractions are large, important components of our math curriculum this year. These games will get students excited to practice these essentials skills.
