My Students
My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources above basic school supplies. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.
We need to get each student the support needed to be successful in the classroom.
A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes and needs supports provided in the classroom.
My Project
My students need materials and resources in the classsroom that help with number sense and finiancial literacy skills. We will use math activities to teach students at the youngest of age. By building a good foundation for numbers, we will have children with good financial literacy skills in the future.
The magnetic numbers, counting cubes, colored bears, and others will help the youngest of learners with their number and financial literacy skills.
These tools will be provided for intruction as well as work time for all the students. These activities will help enhance and add to the teaching and classroom.
