Math 360 With The WRITE Stuff!

My Students

I teach 6 classes a day of Early Intervention Math with an average of 10 students in each class. I see third, fourth, and fifth graders everyday for 45 minutes. During their time in my classroom students are working on closing the gaps they have in their regular math classes.

In my room we do a TON of review at a much slower pace in a more intimate setting allowing students the opportunity to try without the fear of failure!

My Project

From the moment I heard about Math 360 I couldn't wait to start it in my own classroom! That same day I went to my room and immediately cleared off wall space for some VNPS (vertical non permanent surfaces)!

Research shows that students are more likely to start a math problem without hesitation if they can stand and work it out on a dry erase board!

Why? Mistakes are easier to erase!

I have the boards but what my class needs most is expo markers! As you can imagine, 60 students working out math problems all day causes a shortage of markers really fast!
