My Students

I am a speech language pathologist who works with students with speech and language delays and disabilities. My students are in both regular education and special education classes. Most of my students receive pull-out therapy sessions in my speech and language therapy room. My students range from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.

We are a Title I school, and although my students face many hardships, I want them to learn that they can set goals and become successful.

I love making my classroom a place kids want to be and love coming to every day.

My Project

When asked what do your students need the most, my reply is interactive therapy materials, but you can't forget the color printer and ink to make all of these materials! We have very limited copies at my school and I do not have easy access to a color printer. As a result, I do not have the easy ability to make fun interactive vocabulary and grammar activities that my students require to improve their speech and language skills.

These items will give me the ability to make interactive therapy materials for hands-on learning in my speech and language therapy room.

My students require many different activities and materials to grasp the grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills necessary to be successful in the regular education classroom. Please help my students have the necessary materials for their academic growth.
