My Students

My students come to school with a natural curiosity, creativity, and an eagerness to learn. Our classroom is a learning environment where students are ready to explore new concepts.

The sixth graders in my class thrive when given the opportunity to share ideas, be creative, and participate in hands-on learning experiences.

They are a diverse group with a variety of different learning styles. Finding new ways to engage them and deepen understandings can be a challenge. Therefore, I feel confident that these materials will help me meet all of their needs while creating a fun, yet challenging learning environment.

My Project

These materials will make everyday learning much more engaging and exciting for the students in my classroom, which is exactly what they need in light of COVID-19. They are items that can be used for any lesson, and any subject area.

By donating to this project, you will not only help to increase student attention, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by allowing me to create more engaging lessons.

My class loves to perform, so the headset microphone will be used all the time. It will also greatly help with our class play. The giant post-it notes will help the students work collaboratively, and the art supplies will allow me to better integrate art with other subjects.
