My students are amazing! They are eager to learn and participate in new activities; however, lack of experiences and materials will hold them back. They have a difficult time connecting with traditional books and need help to access reading materials. My students need materials such as alphabet sound activities, flip books, magnetic letters, and a timer to help them learn the building blocks of reading so that they can access the curriculum.
My students are diagnosed with intellectual disability and autism.
They learn and respond positively to curriculum that is visual, kinesthetic and allows them to practice their skills repeatedly. With your help, my students will be able to access the curriculum that they deserve.
