Our students are at a K-5th-grade public, elementary school. Half of our students are in a Spanish dual language immersion program. Our kids come from a variety of diverse backgrounds, with about 65% of our students qualifying for low-income. Our school offers a mix of unique learning experiences such as student-created clubs and creating a School Community News Program.
Our students are hard-working, energetic, and avid learners.

My Project
These materials are necessary for the students' voices to be heard. Without the sound equipment, the audience will not be able to hear their singing and speaking parts. The art materials will help to create scenery enhancing the audience's experience. The costumes will help the children really get into character. This program and these materials will help our kids learn about life-long necessary skills such as public speaking, working together, learning new skills, and responsibilities such as memorizing their lines. The combination of the sound equipment, art materials, costumes, and the children's learning new skills will create the mixture for a stellar performance. The final performances will be in May!
