This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Using the Post-It Sticky Note Pads in class allows my students to create their own anchor charts for retaining the new learning that happens daily. We use them throughout the room to identify and review skills and processes for success. Having sharpened pencils readily available allows my students to focus on working, not hunting down pencils, and encourages responsibility.
I will use the Shiny Smiley Stickers and Positive Notes Home on a regular basis to praise and encourage my students' good behavior and work habits.
As parents love to receive positive notes about their children, I know this will become a much sought after item!
When a child celebrates a birthday, it should be recognized with as much positive fanfare as possible, which is why I am requesting the Birthday Bear. This will let my students have the bear on his/her desk for the day and carry it with them to signify his/her special day.
