Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school. All of the students receive free breakfast, lunch, and snack. The neighborhood these children live in is not the best, and despite what they have been through, they walk into my classroom everyday eager to learn.

It is my responsibility to make sure my students have everything they need in order to have a successful school year.

I have tried to do this on my own, but now I'm reaching out to the world to help me. These children are our future and we need to do everything we can to make sure they have a great learning environment.

My Project

These materials will really help my students learn in fun and exciting ways. My students really enjoy listening to books. Right now, our CD player broke and we have been unable to use this reading station. The new books and listening center will allow my students to work on their reading skills.

The math games will make learning math facts fun and exciting.

My students really enjoy hands on activities where they can work on math skills with their peers. I know they will love these activities!

The students will be excited to have new leveled books to add to our classroom library. The students really enjoy visiting our classroom library. They will be even more excited when they have books to choose from on topics that interest them. They will get to pick out books to add to to their book buddy tote bag.
