My Students

My students are motivated and eager to learn, despite the many challenges they face. Our school receives Title 1 funding, so the majority of students enrolled in our school come from an economically disadvantaged background. I want to be sure I'm doing everything I can to give my students a more equitable education.

My Project

My school district will be utilizing a 100% online learning model until at least mid-November. In order to be a more effective online teacher, I am asking for a white board easel that I can set up behind me while teaching virtually. As I teach young learners, it is important to note that they learn how to write partly by watching me write. This is much more authentic than the students seeing typed text. I can also use the white board easel to create and display anchor charts with my class, as well as teach literacy concepts by using magnetic letters on the white board.
