Materials Needed for Morning Meeting!

Help me give my students charts, trays, and other essential materials to navigate the classroom and develop basic language, communication and organization!

My Project

Morning Meeting is an important time of day in the classroom, especially for setting the tone of the day. It's the time we introduce the day, review calendar skills, attendance and discuss what we have planned for the day. Providing my students with a calendar pocket chart, attendance pocket chart, and a daily schedule chart will brighten our morning meeting and make it much more interactive for students. My students are getting older but still lack these basic skills due to their academic levels. These materials will help make this time of day more enticing and keep the kids interested.

Since this is a time where students are really engaged and needing to recall and repeat information it's important to have materials that students can manipulate and that are bright and exciting for the students to use.

Donating these materials will help our classroom environment feel 100% more inviting. The pocket charts will provide students with the ability to move things around and are much easier for students with fine motor issues to manipulate. The pictures and colorful displays will be exciting for children to look at and will help facilitate discussions in the classroom.
