My Students
My class consists of the most curious, sweet, loving kindergarteners you can imagine. Seeing their little faces as they entered school for the first day was priceless. It is clearly evident, when speaking with any of my students, that they have such a desire to learn and grow. These children come from challenging home lives with limited opportunities. They all deserve a classroom equipped with all the necessary tools to acces
I am committed to ensuring that every child who enters my classroom will be supported as they begin their educational journey to becoming life-long learners and empathetic, responsible, contributing members of the community.
My Project
Our school adopted the balanced literacy approach, which means we use readers and writers workshop for our English/Language Arts instruction. The workshop model requires creating anchor charts for students to reference, to help remind students of the strategies they can apply to their own reading and writing. I am requesting the chart paper, markers, and scissors so that I can provide students with colorful and engaging anchor charts.
The students in my class deserve to have basic elementary classroom materials provided to them such as art supplies and chart paper.
My students are busy reading and writing every day, and require art supplies such as colored pencils, fancy scissors, dry erase markers, and a pencil sharpener to fully engage in the curriculum.
