This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These materials are needed in our classroom to support learning via technology. In a first grade classroom, modeling things for students is important. The Document Camera will help me teach students and they can see exactly what I am doing. This will help with reading and math.

Technology has become a huge part of education and has helped drive students learning.

My students love to use their tablets to play math fluency games like xtramath or Dreambox. There is also multiple apps that have books available for students. Technology has been great for giving students that extra practice in the classroom while making it fun.

My students are in need of headphones. We use our tablets everyday. It is hard for my students to focus when they can hear everyone else's tablets. Headphones are important for keeping their focus and setting them up for success.
