My Students

My school is in a small town in Indiana near a large university. We have a culturally diverse school with many families coming from other countries, and I believe this makes our classroom incredibly special. My first graders are enthusiastic students who love to be challenged with hands-on activities and educational games in the classroom. Every child in my classroom loves to learn, and I incorporate a variety of learning strategies so that every child can reach their fullest potential.

My Project

This semester I will be teaching students remotely from my classroom during the global pandemic. I will be challenged to translate what I do in the classroom into an online format for my first grade students.

Teachers Pay Teachers is a website that I often use for quality worksheets and lessons that can be used in the classroom.

This year I anticipate that I will need to buy new materials for use in my remote classroom. Also, these materials can be used every following year, as well, benefiting many of my future students.
