My Students
Our first and second graders in room 128 are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.
Learning never stops!
Our school is located in northwest Milwaukee. Most of our families struggle with poverty, which creates difficulties in having supplies needed for learning at school and home. Our goal is to provide an equitable education for each student by using DonorsChoose to be able to have the resources and supplies needed for them to reach their full potential.
My Project
I use cardstock and colored paper for everything in the classroom. I can make so many academic games and activities that will last with this paper. For me, it’s about customizing everything towards my students' specific needs. I can make so many variations of games and materials just with paper and a laminator. Cardstock in particular is such a sturdy and thick material that last for years
With this supply of paper, laminating pouches, and a new laminator my students will benefit in so many different learning content areas.
