My Project
As a MATH teacher in a South Brooklyn school, some of my students have more resources at home than others. As an eighth year teacher, I think it is imperative that my students all get equal opportunity to do well on their assignments. Despite the many challenges some of my students might face, I am looking to keep things interactive and simple. I want to provide my students with the resources they need to succeed in my class and in life. My students come from various cultural backgrounds, I want my classroom to be a place where we learn from each others differences. As a math teacher, I want to make the materials as visually appealing and accessible to all of my students. I am requesting ink for my printer so I can create differentiated worksheets. Supplies like velvet coloring sheets, Cricut mats, colored paper for my Cricut crafting choice for our schools Student Enrichment. I am also requesting some treats like Jolly Ranchers for students that are doing what is expected of them.
