My Students
The best way to learn science is to DO science. I want my students to understand matter and energy at the particulate level by engaging in hands-on activities in my classroom.
I have about 120 awesome students in grades 10-12. They are really engaged in hands-on activities and I want to keep that enthusiasm for science throughout the entire year. We are at a great school with a rigorous curriculum, with students dedicated to learning.
My Project
My students will use the Specific Gravity sets to learn about mass and specific heat. They will use the Density sets to investigate the correlation between mass and volume. They can keep their beakers and test tubes clean with the brushes and they can visualize ionic compounds with the NaCl model kit.
I am in a new classroom that is short on materials and supplies. Your kind and generous donation will help ensure that my students can engage in several hands-on inquiry based laboratories for many years to come!
