This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are producing our second musical this year: Matilda Jr! There are some tricks up our sleeves (and magic props), so we'll need your help to make our vision come alive. All 21 actors and 4 crew members are so appreciative of everyone's help in making Madagascar happen last year and look forward to performing Matilda this year at the end of May!

Can you help us procure these amazing props and items for our amazing play?

- Spackling to make a fake cake (it's great fake frosting!)

- chain links to use as a prop

- chalk holder (to make a cool magic ghost chalk writing trick)

- black fedora hats for a costume

- a pinstripe fedora hat for a costume

- a green wig for Mr. Wormwood's costume

- a sweatband set for a costume

- self-adhesive fake mustache set (because middle schoolers haven't grown mustaches yet)

- magnetic dart board for a scenic idea inspired by students

- realistic fake lizards to scare Ms. Trunchbull (a prop)

- Round Foam Cake Dummy to make a fake cake prop

- old-fashioned cell phone for a prop

- hat feathers headband for a costume

- disc magnets with holes for our magic ghost chalk prop

- headmaster costume

- green chalkboard contact paper for our magic ghost chalk trick (yes, I am excited to make this happen!)

- 24 pairs knee high socks for costumes

- tutu for a costume

- white chef hat for a costume

- blonde curly wig for a costume

- 3 men's casual blazers for a costume

- leather fingerless hand gloves for a costume

- hula hoops for a prop

- white chalkboard chalk (yes, for the ghost chalk trick)

- metallic spray paint to create scenic items
