My Project

Many of the students in my classroom use visuals to support their understanding and utilization of new learning. Having the materials(tape, pot it notes, dry erase markers, permanent markers, and etc.) to create visuals that my students can access and use as a tool is an important part of supporting their learning. Every group of students is different, so having the ability to create new materials that fit their needs is incredibly helpful. New content comes with new vocabulary and concepts, and I can support students understanding of this by giving them visuals to use as a tool. For my multilingual learners, visuals to refer back to throughout units has been helpful for them to develop, use, and understand academic language.

Visuals support students with not only understanding, but also utilizing new vocabulary and concepts.

Having the materials to create these visuals allows me to meet student needs and give another access point to new material. I would love to continue to provide these visuals for my students to use as a tool in navigating new learning.
