This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting off the school year with the necessary supplies and materials such as pencils and markers help to make the school year a success. These school supplies will help ease the burden on my student's families after such a challenging school year by helping to provide school supplies for the classroom, so they don't have to purchase supplies themselves. The supplies in this project will provide my students will the materials that are necessary for the day-to-day activities and work that will take place in our classroom. I am requesting items that are truly "the basics". You can see I requested typical back to school items, such as pencils, color pencils, dry erasers markers, and glue sticks. Students want to feel prepared. If I can have these supplies ready for the students, they will not feel left out and will be set up for a successful year! I know having a student feel prepared for the school year sets the tone! Students love to have new supplies.
