Last year I was able to receive equipment for a spectral line analysis lab. The equipment only came with three gasses so I am hoping to add more gasses to the lab for a richer experience.
To model Earth's processes, I have found that Play-Doh is a great medium.
This has to be replaced every year because I prefer for students to have their dough so as not to spread germs as readily.
The digital scales will replace triple balance beams which are more cumbersome to use and not always as accurate because of reader errors when attempting to use them.
I feel that learning is much more enjoyable when students can be engaged and the above-listed materials will help make that possible.
