Help me give my students beginning of year gift bags (filled with supplies and treats) reusable water bottles, bags, cleaning items, incentives, snacks and basic supplies in order to accomplish project objectives.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My project goal is to provide my students with the materials they need in order to thrive and address their specific special needs. My students come to school on a daily basis ready and eager to learn, however many of them lack the basic school supplies and items needed in order to accomplish their objectives. Many of them also come to school hungry and although they receive free breakfast and lunch, they can use some snacks between meals and on their way home. I wish to provide my students with materials such as folders, notebooks, glue sticks, wipes, reusable towels (instead of paper towels), lunch totes and bags, tissue, water bottles and snacks.
Basic classroom supplies are essential in a classroom in order to promote a successful academic environment.
Many of my students lack basic school supplies that are essential to complete daily class assignments, improve studying skills, produce classroom projects, and enrich their minds academically. Having the right supplies and materials is essential. When it comes to my classroom, the smallest details make the biggest difference. By having the necessary supplies (folders, notebooks, glue sticks, water bottles, wipes, tissue and snacks), students will be able to excel academically, address their specific special needs and will increase their studying skills. The requested lunch and drink containers (lunch totes, disposable lunch/treat bags and insulated bottles) will be used to tote snacks, lunch, and ice to and from recess, home, and the cafeteria. In all, the requested items will allow all students to stay health, hydrated, and actively engaged in their learning as they focus on the task at hand.
