This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am teaching technology! I am teaching classes from PK-5th. While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from PK-5th Grade. The majority of the school students are Hispanic/Latino, and many of them speak Spanish when they are at home.
This year, most of our students are joining classes remotely from their houses to stay safe through this epidemic.
Our students are economically disadvantaged and therefore are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.
My Project
For this project I am seeking to get some vinyl material and sublimation paper to help us design our individual t-shirts and masks. This project is going to allow the students to end this year off on a high note where they will be encouraged to express themselves through creating personalized products using the designing process. The vinyl and sublimation paper will help the students digital creations come to life in a way that will last a lifetime. The end products will encourage students to wear their designs that express their inner feelings in a confident way.
