Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When my students were in third grade last year, they lost their teacher. They did not have a teacher for a few months. As we know the immense impact the upper grades have in elementary schools, this created huge learning gaps on top of losing a year due to Covid-19. My students work extremely hard, and these materials will make a huge difference in their learning. In my classroom, we constantly review key concepts to help close those gaps, but currently we are using white paper in sheet protectors. These white boards and manipulatives will definitely be an upgrade into their learning and knowledge.
