Mastering Motion with Hands-On Physics

Help me give my students access to hands on physics learning. These motion detectors will allow students to take control of their learning through designing their own scientific experiments.

My Project

In the high school physics classroom, the more opportunities students have to graph and model the motion of their own bodies, the quicker they are able to master more sophisticated topics. Motion detectors and calculators such as these give students a multitude of ways to record and graph their own motion, or the motion of anything they could possibly imagine.

Picture a classroom of students given the power to design and implement physics experiments on anything from their everyday lives they choose.

These detectors will graph and record whatever you put in front of them and deliver high quality graphical and numerical data to a computer. Students taking physics for the first time will almost immediately be able to conduct highly precise experiments they designed themselves.

Your support will go towards a group of students from all over the city of Philadelphia with limitless ambition. Some are new to physics and some already have designs on pursuing engineering, research, and more. Thank you for giving my students these powerful tools!
