My second grade students are a delightful group of curious learners. I have 22 students in my class, and each student possesses unique talents and a desire to achieve.
My students consistently set goals and work hard to gain success!
They are a compassionate group of eager kids, and they work hard to be helpful and kind to each other. I am always exploring new strategies to help my students reach their maximum potential and experience all the joys of learning! I think they are AMAZING!
I want my second grade students to develop mathematical fluency by mastering the basic addition and subtraction facts. Second grade students are expected to know single-digit addition and subtraction facts. The students need to develop their ability to compute quickly and accurately to assist them in solving higher-level mathematical problems. Mastery of math facts is gained with sufficient practice. The items that I am requesting will challenge my students' thinking while building and sustaining a strong level of enthusiasm as they develop proficiency.
My students are determined to reach their goal of learning the basic addition and subtraction facts!
The "Addition Fluency Puzzles" are skill building puzzles that boost addition fact fluency in a concrete and visual way. The "tri-FACTatm Addition & Subtraction Game" is a game that develops math fact fluency while making learning fun for the students. The "Educational Keyboard for Addition & Subtraction" is a handy, portable keyboard to practice both addition and subtraction facts. The "Make a Splashtm 120 Mat" is a hands-on visual tool to help students see number patterns and number relationships.
Student success is complex and must be sustained with a variety of learning tools. Your assistance in providing my students with these items will be sincerely appreciated!
