My Students

I honestly do not have one word to describe the minds that sit in my classroom. My students are so much more than a simple word or phrase. My students are inquisitive, active, and experimental. They strive to succeed at all cost. Many have grown into understanding the necessity of a productive struggle. My students are over-comers, triumphant leaders. They laugh together, cry together, communicate well, and enjoy each other. They are united and energy burst through this bunch. My student understands how to respect. They are committed developing their individual personalities and continue to amaze me everyday. The young men and women my students are becoming inspire me.

My Project

At first glance, no one would know my students came from low-income households. They carry themselves with dignity, and they strongly strive for what they believe in. However, poverty has unfortunately caused problems with regards to school supplies. My students each need the 3 required reading book so sadly, we do not have enough. Without these books students cannot complete reading assignments, participate in class discussion, and perform well on class assessments. Students also need headphones for our computers to coincide with students work on compass learning and other google classroom assignments. Finally, our curriculum requires certain protocols that individual dry erase boards and markers will make our classroom run smoothly and increase independent practice.

With your help will prepare them to reach their maximum potential throughout out schools required curriculum.

These materials will provide my students with all the necessary materials that are designated by the required curriculum. With these materials, my students will be set up to meet the level of meet or exceed standards given throughout the curriculum intellectually rather than having to focus on material needs. This also builds confidence and assurance that there are individuals willing to support their academic growth.
